Job Title: Tissue Culture Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tissue Culture Laboratory Technician to join our team. The role involves ensuring the timely production of kits in accordance with Good Manufacturing Procedures and FDA requirements. You will play a crucial part in maintaining quality and consistency across all products.

Responsibilities

Ensure all kits are produced in a timely fashion as designated by the supervisor in accordance with Good Manufacturing Procedures.Ensure all raw materials, including chemicals, antigens, serums, and plasmas, are available for production.Ensure all procedures are followed and accurately completed in accordance with FDA requirements, and that all documents are kept up to date.Participate in cycle counts and review kit data to ensure the quality and consistency of products.Assist Technical Services in troubleshooting any problems, facilitating sample and/or kit testing in response to customer complaints or requirements.Interact with all other departments as needed.

Essential Skills

Academic biology lab experienceSample preparationPipette experienceAbility to read and follow written directionsBasic working knowledge of Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, and aseptic techniqueAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations including the creation of dilutionsGood laboratory practicesAbility to operate and maintain machines such as automated plate washers, readers, and pH metersComputer skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology preferredScience experienceLab experience required

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:15 am to 11:15 am, totaling a 35-hour work week. The laboratory environment requires adherence to safety protocols and good laboratory practices to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Branchburg, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
