Job Description

WHAT’S THE JOB?
Based at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa ON looking for an experienced and  passionate Manager to oversee the day to day operations  of the Tim Horton's on campus.

As a  Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the Tim Horton's; ordering, managing inventory, superior customer service and training of staff and ensuring that health and safety standards are being followed as per Dana Hospitality.  

Your work will include:

 

Lead a team: Oversee a team of staff members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service. Manage operations: Plan, organize, and evaluate restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and labor management. Customer service: Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met, fostering positive relationships with guests. Training and development: Train and develop staff to maintain high service standards and quality. Performance management: Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to improve service and operational efficiency. 

 

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have Tim Horton’s managerial experienceFood Safe, Basic, Advanced, First Aid, Red Seal Certification preferred or similar work experience3+ years' experience in the hospitality / food service industryYou have knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GFS, Outlook)Strong time management skillsSuperior Customer Service Skills You have an effective leadership style, positive outgoing personality and effective listening skillsDemonstrate values of Accountability, Respect, Health and Safety, and Trust
