Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in Lakeville, MN. This position involves welding large custom industrial ovens using both MIG and TIG processes, with a focus on stainless steel. The role includes fabrication, blueprint reading, and light mechanical assembly. ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on stainless and mild steel, mainly TIG on stainlessAssist with fabrication and assembly of large custom industrial ovensRead and interpret blueprints for welding tasksUse hand and power tools and basic fabrication equipmentWork on both bench and custom welding projects (75% welding, 25% assembly)QualificationsProficiency in MIG and TIG welding - 70% TIG welding on stainless steelAbility to read and interpret blueprintsExperience with stainless and mild steelMechanical aptitude and fabrication skillsPrior experience in MIG and TIG weldingBenefitsPension plan with $2.05/hour contributions, paid out every five yearsTwo raises annually: one in August and another throughout the year ($0.40–$0.60)Overtime available: Up to 10 hours during weekdays, plus weekendsDouble-time pay for Sunday workClean, safe, and well-lit shop environmentLaid-back culture with a focus on meeting deadlinesWork Environment

This position is based in a extremely clean, well lit, and organized shop with a strong emphasis on safety. The team culture is laid-back but focused, with a variety of custom welding projects that keep the work interesting and rewarding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
