Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for cosmetic TIG welding on stainless steel equipment intended for fast food outlets, school lunchrooms, and hospitals. The appearance of the welds is crucial as they will be visible to customers. The role involves TIG welding for stainless steel, typically 20 gauge, and requires reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and parts lists. Welding will be completed using fixtures or fabricated on a weld table with guides.

Responsibilities

Perform cosmetic TIG welding on stainless steel equipment.Ensure the aesthetics of welds as they are customer-facing.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and parts lists.Complete all welding tasks, including those done by fixtures or on a weld table using guides.

Essential Skills

1 - 5 years of experience in TIG welding, particularly with aluminum.Ability to read and work off blueprints.Must pass a math test and a weld test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Welding Diploma is preferred.Experience in working with stainless steel.

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing plant with a dress code of steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt. The position offers two shifts: the 1st Shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, and another shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.95 - $28.95/hr.
