**Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description** This position focuses on high-quality TIG welding of aluminum, thin-gauge stainless steel, and nickel alloy components for aerospace, automotive, military, and defense industries. The successful candidate will collaborate with the manager to interpret blueprints and execute welding tasks while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with unique materials, creating specialized products, and includes training to become aerospace certified. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate TIG welding machines for aluminum components, thin-gauge stainless steel, and nickel alloy components. + Perform TIG welding according to AWS standards and aerospace specifications. + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols. + Weld both production parts and custom one-off components. + Prepare weld joints using hand grinders, sanders, and other prep tools. + Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. + Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition. + Follow all company safety policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of TIG welding experience. + Fabrication skills including grinding, sanding, and fitting. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience with MIG welding. + Proficiency in aluminum and stainless steel welding. + Possession of personal tools such as chipping hammer, wire brush, pliers, clamps, and screwdrivers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior aerospace welding experience. + Certification or welding school degree. **Why Work Here?** The company is rapidly growing, offering multiple career advancement opportunities.
