**Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description**
The TIG Welder is responsible for planning, laying out, and fabricating complex production and experimental metal parts and assemblies using a wide range of tools and processes. This role involves interpreting blueprints and work instructions, performing inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances, and troubleshooting issues within established procedures. The position works under limited supervision, collaborates with teams across departments, and may serve as a resource to others.
**Responsibilities**
+ Plan work and layout, set up, and fabricate a wide variety of intricate, experimental and/or production sheet metal parts and final assemblies from raw material.
+ Utilize equipment such as shears, brakes, drills, sanders, degreasing baths, spray painting, silk screening, non-conformance, and manual mills and lathes, MIG, TIG, and spot welding.
+ Work with and interpret standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal, and electronic orders to accomplish assigned work.
+ Check and inspect operations against specified tolerances.
+ Identify problems and issues in straightforward situations.
+ Communicate with contacts within and outside the department on matters involving obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation.
+ Serve as a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency.
+ Work under limited supervision with less detailed instructions and minimal peer review.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in TIG welding.
+ Experience with aluminum welding.
+ Skills in fabricating.
+ Capability to operate an overhead crane.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
