**Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in an aircraft manufacturing environment. You will primarily work with thin steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts, contributing to the assembly of aircraft kits and on-site production of aircraft. This role involves sitting for most of the time during 10-12 hour shifts in a quiet work environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG welding on .035 thick aluminum and .045-.25 steel tubing. + Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols accurately. + Pull materials from shelves and prepare them for welding. + Contribute to the assembly of aircraft kits and on-site aircraft production. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically on aluminum, stainless steel, and thin steel. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols. + Reliable form of transportation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in fabrication and manufacturing. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. + Experience working off prints. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, close-knit team where you have the opportunity to wear many hats and work on a variety of exciting projects. The role requires sitting for extended periods during 10-12 hour shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of AURORA, OR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
