Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Chaska, MN

Pay: $30/hr

Shift: 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll perform custom TIG welding to build high-quality water filtration systems. You’ll also assist with metal cutting and fabrication tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project.

Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsGrind and cut metal to sizeSet up production areas for maximum efficiencyPosition and secure parts using fixtures, clamps, and standsCreate jigs for production runs when neededFollow welding procedure specifications for quality and conformitySafely handle and connect gas cylinders to fabrication equipmentSet up and maintain welding machinesInspect welds for bead size and specificationsRepair broken or cracked metal parts and fill holesWeld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positionsPrepare joints and remove discontinuities before continuing fabricationClean and degrease partsEssential SkillsProficiency in TIG welding on stainless pipingAbility to read and interpret blueprintsWillingness to assist with assembly, MIG welding, and electrical workAbility to pass a 2–3\" pipe/butt weld testStrong understanding of safety rules and proceduresQualificationsOne-year technical certificate or equivalent experienceWelding certification preferredAbility to pass a 3” 304 sch. 40 6G pipe test and a ½” 304 sch. 10 6G pipe testStrong math skills and ability to follow instructionsWhy Join Us?Supportive team environment with growth opportunities144 hours of PTO within the first five yearsAnnual performance-based raises (1–5%)Temperature-controlled facilityWork alongside a team of experienced welders

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
