**Job Title: TIG Welder/Fabricator**
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our custom welding and fabrication shop. This role involves utilizing a variety of tools for fabricating, welding, assembly, and finishing of handrail systems. The position is dynamic, requiring flexibility to work across different departments.
1st shift: 6am -2:30pm
Responsibilities
+ Measure, layout, cut, fit, join, and fabricate stainless steel railing systems using appropriate techniques.
+ Read and interpret shop drawings, project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to fabricate high-end architectural stainless steel railings and components.
+ Operate welding equipment to produce quality TIG welds in stainless steel in horizontal and vertical positions.
+ Grind and polish stainless steel materials to meet required finish specifications.
+ Operate metalworking equipment, including saws, drill presses, punch presses, bar and pipe benders, brakes, grinders, and polishers.
+ Perform detailed quality checks to verify the accuracy of manufactured products against fabrication drawings.
+ Utilize knowledge of machinery, equipment, mathematics, and physical sciences to complete fabrication tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding, and operation of band saws and drill presses.
+ Experience in stainless steel fabrication, including cutting, grinding, polishing, bending, and assembly.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Proficient in using measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and protractors.
+ Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts and understand both metric and imperial measurement systems.
+ Strong logical reasoning skills for troubleshooting and solving practical problems.
+ Commitment to safety and adherence to safety processes and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Candidates from technical programs such as LCCTC are encouraged to apply.
+ 1-3 years of experience in TIG welding and fabrication is ideal.
+ Ability to lift up to sixty pounds safely.
+ Willingness to follow and interpret various instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Work Environment
Our facility is a custom fabrication shop featuring CNC operators and welder/fabricators, overseen by a manufacturing supervisor and the VP of Operations. The team operates cohesively across departments, emphasizing teamwork and feedback for continuous improvement. The dress code includes work pants, t-shirt, and steel-toe boots or sneakers.

This is position is located in COLUMBIA, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
