**Job Title: TIG Welder**
Job Description
Seeking a skilled TIG Welder who is dedicated to producing high-quality aerospace welds. The ideal candidate will have experience with various alloys and be capable of handling a range of tasks including soldering, brazing, machining, grinding, and testing. Documentation is a crucial aspect of this role, requiring thorough tracking and recording of all steps involved in completing tasks. The work involves creating unique cooling device products for defense and government projects, necessitating a high level of multitasking and performance.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate Manual Welder to perform TIG welding on components according to specifications.
+ Follow welding instructions and complete projects based on blueprints.
+ Understand and execute verbal instructions from Manufacturing leadership regarding job orders.
+ Perform tack-weld functions to join metal work pieces at specified distances.
+ Inspect and record quality requirements of finished work pieces.
+ Utilize safety devices and tools to ensure safe operation of welding processes.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Comply with company policies and procedures.
+ Participate in cross-training throughout the manufacturing facility.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma, GED, or technical school diploma preferred.
+ 5+ years of related experience and/or training preferred.
+ Welding certificate preferred.
+ Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
+ Ability to read and work with set tolerances and blueprints.
+ Ability to set up and operate welding machines.
+ Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
+ Basic mathematical skills for setting up and operating welding processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to pass weld exams if necessary.
+ Capacity for cross-training throughout the manufacturing facility.
+ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
+ Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Work Environment
This position is situated in a clean and detail-oriented environment, emphasizing precision work. The role includes welding, operating various machines, and testing products to meet customer requirements. Work hours are from 7 AM to 3 PM, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts when necessary.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
