We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a TIG Welder with the opportunity to train and grow into a Tool and Die Technician role. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining dies throughout the plant, working with various product lines and die types.
ResponsibilitiesInspect and maintain dies across the plant for various product lines.Operate overhead cranes to move dies to the shop.Conduct inspections on mechanical and electrical components.Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on cracked or non-functional dies.Execute TIG welding on stainless steel, including grinding and minor repairs.
Essential SkillsExperience in TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel.Knowledge of tool and die maintenance.Experience with overhead crane operation.Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and perform die repairs.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabricating guards and racks.Experience with grinding and surface grinding.Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Work Environment
This position starts with training on the first shift for 6-8 weeks. The work schedule rotates bi-weekly, with hours from 6am to 4:30pm or 6pm to 4:30am, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The work environment supports professional growth, leading from TIG Welder to Die Maintenance Technician and beyond.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.43 - $20.43/hr.
