Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electrical enclosures industry, is seeking a Tig Welder to join their team. As a Tig Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting various manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Tig Welder
**Location: Scott City, MO**
**Pay Range:**
**Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Prepare and execute various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer specifications.
+ Construct and fabricate manufactured parts with detailed accuracy based on blueprints.
+ Utilize hand tools and measuring devices effectively to ensure precision in work.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and set up welding equipment as required.
+ Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 1 year of TIG welding experience required.
+ Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Ability to perform simple math and decimal to fraction conversions.
+ Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments.
