**Tig Welder Opening**
**Pay is $25-$30 to Start - Long Term Position**
**Job Description**
This position involves TIG welding during the manufacturing of Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) Ion Pumps made of stainless steel. The majority of the tasks will involve butt welds, with occasional piping. The role offers the opportunity to learn welding for 20 different products, including custom variations using blueprints, primarily in short-run orders averaging 3-10 parts. There is potential for career advancement from Welder I to III.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components during the manufacturing process.
+ Execute butt welds and occasional piping welds as required.
+ Learn and apply welding techniques for 20 different standard products and custom variations using blueprints.
+ Complete short-run welds, averaging 3-10 parts per order.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) products is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This small company has approximately 40 employees, with a production team of 25 and a welding team of 6. The company prioritizes a positive culture and teamwork, having recently moved into a new building to accommodate growth.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
