**Aerotek is hiring for a TIG Welder!** We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team, responsible for welding a variety of materials such as sheet metal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and copper without leaks. The ideal candidate will perform weldments with exceptional appearance and quality, and will be versatile in welding techniques and materials. **Responsibilities** + Perform inter-piping, including fitting, aligning, and adjustments. + Operate hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment such as oxyacetylene torch. + Read blueprints and drawings to identify welding measurements and positions. + Troubleshoot product issues with assistance as needed. + Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper heat settings and weld tip. + Perform preventative maintenance on weld machines. + Use a variety of air and electric hand tools. + Assist in training Welder I and II. + Perform leak tests to ensure weld integrity. + Operate crane forklifts safely and efficiently. + Ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing protective gear. + Maintain an organized and clean work area. + Perform additional duties related to weld and assembly, including laser weld pans. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in TIG Welding. + Experience with thin gauge metals. + Pipe welding techniques including arc, MIG, and TIG welding. + Blueprint reading experience. + Experience welding with aluminum and stainless steel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 G Certifications. + Experience with pressure vessels. + Vocational schooling in welding. **Why work here?** Join our team for challenging work where you will be exposed to unique opportunities and out-of-position welding.
