**Job Title: TIG Welder**
**Job Description**
The successful candidate will perform TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and aluminum for an Aerospace and Defense company. This role involves welding products such as air pressure pumps, power supply units, and other ground support equipment for military applications. The position is located in Chatsworth.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG welding on various metals including stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.
+ Interpret blueprints and accurately identify tolerances.
+ Utilize and measure tools effectively.
+ Work on products such as air pressure pumps and power supply units.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in TIG welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in stainless steel welding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ No formal certificates are required.
+ Must complete a T-Joint TIG welding test on aluminum, stainless steel, and steel during the interview.
+ Ability to identify tolerances from blueprints in the interview.
**Work Environment**
This position is within a mid-sized aerospace company. The work schedule includes the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatsworth, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
