TIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team, focusing on welding and fabricating high-quality sinks and plumbing fixtures. The ideal candidate will have experience in TIG welding on stainless steel and the ability to read and interpret blueprints for proper product setup.

ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on multiple sinks and full line welds on zero radius sinks.Weld on plumbing fixtures and faucets.Interpret blueprints and drawings, understanding symbols and diagrams for product setup.Work primarily with 16 to 20 gauge stainless steel; welding copper is a plus.Conduct inspections on welds both visually and using inspection tools.Use grinders and press equipment for proper construction.Weld in vertical, horizontal, and flat positions.Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel.Engage in repetitive production welding.Utilize tools such as tape measures, squares, levels, clamps, and disc grinders.Read and interpret drawings and Bills of Materials.Weld stock and custom products in various product categories.Perform daily general cleanup within designated work areas.Essential SkillsTIG welding experience on stainless steel with at least 3 months of experience.Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.Experience with measuring devices such as tape measures.Familiarity with polishing, MIG welding, assembly, and grinding.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience welding copper is advantageous.Physical capability to lift and handle sheet metal and tooling up to 40 lbs.Ability to perform physical tasks such as pulling, pushing, standing, and bending.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes both 1st and 2nd shifts, with hours from 6am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-11pm respectively. Employees will work 40-45 hours a week, with occasional weekend work as needed. Our team is expanding with a goal of reaching over 30 members in the coming weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.02 - $26.02/hr.
