Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description

Will be doing stick, mostly TIG, and some MIG welding on various ornamental metal, railing, stainless steel, and guardrails. Welders must be able to set up their own machine for each process. Must be able to pass a 3G and 4G weld test. All welders need to be able to read prints and fab drawings. Must be able to use power tools such as grinders, drills, chop saws, and skill saws. Must be able to fabricate.

This is a 90-day contract to hire position with opportunities for overtime. Employees may receive a salary increase when brought on permanently. The management team is supportive and invests time in training their staff. Additionally, there are monthly BBQs for team bonding and cross-training opportunities in other roles such as glazing.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, with a focus on designing and fabricating custom railings. The shop does not have air conditioning, and employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and long pants from day one. The work hours are from 5 AM to 3 PM with potential for 10-hour days and overtime. Employees must be willing and able to go into the field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
