**Job Title: TIG Welder**
**Job Description**
Utilize work orders and blueprints to ensure work is assembled according to specifications. Mark weld points and positions of components on workpieces, using rules, squares, templates, or scribes. Select, position, align, and bolt jigs, holding fixtures, guides, or stops onto machines, using measuring instruments and hand tools. Perform necessary repairs or reworks on defective or non-compliant welds. Remove completed workpieces or parts from machinery, using hand tools. Prepare surfaces or workpieces, using hand-operated equipment, such as grinders, cutters, or drills. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards. TIG weld stainless and carbon steel between 1/16th and ½ inch.
**Responsibilities**
+ Connect all tubing in radiators by welding small U-shaped tubes.
+ Stand over the top of some welds and weld very thin materials, sometimes in blind spots.
+ Perform majority of welds sitting in a chair, with welding tables adjustable to proper heights.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficient in TIG welding stainless and carbon steel.
+ Experience in welding with blueprints and schematics.
+ Ability to weld light gauge materials with small tolerances on stainless steel.
+ 1 year of experience working with TIG welding on stainless steel at one company.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work with small parts and thin metals down to .35.

**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing environment with very clean and up-to-date equipment and temperature control. Employees are allowed to listen to music to a certain degree, as safety guidelines permit. The safety manager will provide orientation on these guidelines. Note that employees are discouraged from being on their phones while on the production floor.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52832.00 - $64563.00/yr.
