Tier 2 Cerner Production Support - Remote

CTG is seeking to fill a Tier 2 Cerner Production Support position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 2 Years Duties: Deliver Tier 2 application support across Cerner Millennium clinical modules, including PowerChart, SurgiNet, PharmNet, FirstNet, Scheduling, and related systems. Perform low-risk, repeatable build activities within Cerner modules (e.g., materials management item builds) under the direction of a Cerner analyst. Manage physician nominations and approval workflows for ePrescribing. Troubleshoot and resolve printer-related issues and coordinate updates in partnership with the Field Services team. Provide prompt, high-quality customer support by troubleshooting user errors and responding to “how-to” inquiries. Supply documentation, job aids, or guidance as appropriate to support end users. Monitor, manage, and resolve items in system error queues. Complete assigned daily application maintenance and operational support tasks. Record issues, actions taken, and resolutions accurately within the ITSM/ticketing system. Support daily operational workflows, including tracking, follow-up, and issue management. Participate in system testing, validation, and support activities. Collaborate with client users, functional teams, and technical partners as needed. Escalate issues to vendors when required and track vendor tickets through resolution. Use the ticket management system to monitor workload, priorities, and issue status. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as required. Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver effective remote production support. Familiarity with Cerner Millennium clinical modules. Working knowledge of ITSM tools and ticket management systems. Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes (preferred). Experience: 1–2 years of production support experience across multiple Cerner Millennium modules. Prior remote production support experience preferred. Solid understanding of clinical workflows is highly desirable. Secondary experience preferred: Hospital or clinic scheduling workflows. Experience supporting acquisitions or integration teams. Participation in on-call rotations. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
