**Job Title: Testing Technician (First Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)** **Location: Broken Arrow, OK** **Job Type: Contract to Hire** **About the Role** We’re seeking a detail-oriented Testing Technician to join our team in Broken Arrow. In this role, you’ll be a key player in the test department, ensuring electrical assemblies and systems meet quality standards before deployment. This is a first shift position, running Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. **Key Responsibilities** + Prepare and compile technical documentation for incoming jobs. + Verify bill of materials and front view layouts. + Install breakers, grounding systems, and set up test equipment. + Conduct DC, AC, and current testing, including dielectric and functional tests. + Perform testing on Straight Emergency Systems. + Upload and configure SCADA systems, PLCs, and protective relay programs. + Make basic edits to PLC/SCADA systems and troubleshoot communication devices. + Rig down and clean up test equipment post-testing. + Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission to relevant departments. + Support other test department functions as needed. **Required Skills & Experience** + Minimum 2 years of experience in production wiring, assembly, and DC/AC systems. + Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to test design execution. + Proficiency in PLC software and electrical testing (high and low voltage). + Ability to read and interpret schematics, standards, and procedures. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel databases. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working with large control and circuit panels used in critical infrastructure (e.g., airports, hospitals, schools). **Why Join Us?** + Competitive benefits package including steel-toed boot allowance and skill-based pay. + Supportive and growth-oriented work environment. + Climate-controlled facility with potential Saturday opportunities. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
