Testing Technician
**Job Title: Testing Technician** **Job Description** The Testing Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing production products. This role involves installing firmware and testing branded products within a production line setting. The position requires expertise in electronic components and the ability to troubleshoot nonconforming products to the component level. 6am to 2:30pm $28 - $31/hr **Responsibilities** + Perform testing on equipment such as analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments. + Measure power, signal, and temperature accurately. + Review test results with staff and make recommendations on repair, maintenance, and refinement of equipment. + Conduct production-line testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and firmware installation. + Operate basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, current clamps, and Hi-Pot machines. + Read schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards and units to the component level. + Perform soldering and crimping tasks. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in testing electrical components. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics. + Experience with thru-hole and circuit board testing. + Ability to troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and Hi-Pot machines. + Knowledge of transformers, diodes, and transistors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Tele Com products, including Network and Industrial firmware installation. + Computer network experience and bench testing capabilities. + Calibration and high voltage testing proficiency. + Ability to handle complex issues and provide leadership and mentoring to junior technicians. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the unique opportunity to write your own SOPs for quality standards in a new division of the business, fostering growth and innovation. **Work Environment** This is a great environment to grow, learn, and demonstrate initiative.
