Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Experience:

5–8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation Testing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation tools, scripting, test strategies, and collaboration with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure testability Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect-tracking tools Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and reports Perform API testing using tools/frameworks Mentor junior QA engineers and review automation code Collaborate closely with Developers, DevOps, and Product teams

Required Technical Skills:

Strong experience in QA Automation testing Hands-on experience either with Selenium WebDriver / Playwright / Cypress Proficiency in one of Java / Python / C# for automation scripting Experience in API automation (REST, SOAP) using tools like RestAssured or Postman Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum Experience with version control systems (Git)

Manual Testing & QA Skills:

Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, and execution Experience in database testing (SQL queries) Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing Experience in defect management and root-cause analysis

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to work independently and lead QA initiatives
