NTT DATA Services currently seeks a **Tester** to join our team in **Halifax, Nova Scotia.** Job Responsibilities + Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with Python. + Test Execution: Write end-to-end (E2E) test cases for web applications, covering functional and regression testing. + CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. + Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional Agile teams, including developers and product managers, to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. + Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices and technical skills. + Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs while performing root cause analysis for test failures. Key Skills and Qualifications + Experience: Typically 8+ years in software QA, with at least 4 years focused on Python automation. + 5+ years of experience with the Playwright framework. + 2+ years of Experience with API Testing (Postman or RESTful service). + 4+ years of experience in Git and platforms like GitHub. + 4+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira. + Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Preferred Qualifications + Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker. + Experience with AI-enhanced testing tools or cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. + Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation.
