About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician / Quality Control Specialist to support inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic products. In this role, you’ll work in a job‑shop style environment handling multiple product types while expanding your technical knowledge and contributing to on‑time project completion.

This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented technician who excels in diagnostics, documentation, and hands‑on testing.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspections to verify compliance with customer and internal specificationsConduct functional testing using electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic test fixturesUse a variety of hand tools, power tools, meters, and test equipmentDocument inspection findings, generate redlines, and communicate corrective actionsCreate rework instructions and collaborate with appropriate teamsManage shifting priorities and complete assignments in a timely mannerMaintain tool organization and a clean work areaPerform additional inspection, testing, or assembly tasks as assignedRequired Skills & Experience1–2+ years of assembly experience; 3–5 years as a Test Technician preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand/eye coordinationAbility to read Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics, and test instructionsExperience with pneumatic testing, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and C of C documentationProficiency with test instruments and power toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-product environmentEffective communication skills, including collaboration with engineersStrong computer skills, including Excel and ERP systemsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPreferred Qualifications2-year technical degree or equivalent technical electrical experience2+ years electrical testing experience with test instrumentsMechanical assembly and wiring experienceAbility to interpret electrical/electronic blueprints, schematics, and diagramsExperience in data entry, organization, and technical reportingHigh-voltage experience (up to 240V)Familiarity with ANSI, ISO 9001, and ISO standardsExperience in industries such as SMC, LAM, AMAT, BD BiosciencesExperience with CDA testing, QC, inspection processesWhy Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.
