**_Urgently hiring for a 6 month project in Fremont. $26.50 for day shift $28 for swing!_** Job Description As a Technician I, you will be responsible for performing the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Responsibilities + Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems. + Perform the set-up and testing of complex systems and mechanical assemblies. + Follow test process instructions (TPI). + Determine test specifications, methods, and procedures from the statement of work (SOW). + Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems. + Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. + Perform additional tasks, including unpacking, packaging, placing labels, and crating. + Undertake any other tasks assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in hardware testing and software installation. + Ability to perform server testing and use command line. + Strong computer skills, including downloading software. + Experience in troubleshooting software and hardware. + Knowledge of electronics and familiarity with Linux C++. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong attention to detail. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Knowledge of basic office applications, such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases. + Familiarity with troubleshooting or networking computer components. + Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Capability to stand for prolonged periods and work on ladders or stools.
