Manufacturing Production Test Technician – Parata Max Vial Fill Systems

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Production Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing Parata Max vial‑filling machines in a production environment. This role ensures each unit meets quality, performance, and customer‑specific configuration requirements before shipment. The technician will work closely with manufacturing leadership to follow production priorities based on the shipping schedule and ensure timely, accurate product readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience (one of the following):

Associate’s degree in applied science (AAS) or a related technical field OR

3–5 years of hands‑on experience working with electronics or electromechanical systems in a manufacturing or production environment

Required Skills:

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Proficiency using multimeters, diagnostic tools, and basic electronic test equipment

Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues

Ability to follow detailed test procedures and documentation

Computer proficiency, including software installation, firmware updates, and configuration tools

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership and team members

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform functional testing of Parata Max vial fill machines following established procedures

Validate system performance, accuracy, safety features, and reliability

Document all test results, defects, and resolutions in production tracking systems

Ensure each unit meets quality standards and customer specifications

Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software related issues detected during testing

Use schematics, voltmeters, and diagnostic tools to identify component level failures

Perform repairs, replacements, calibrations, or adjustments as needed

Work with Engineering or Technical Support teams when escalations are required

Configuration & Software Setup

Load and validate machine software and perform firmware updates

Configure machine settings based on order requirements and customer requested setup

Verify all programmed configurations meet documented customer specifications

Ensure all unit labeling, versioning, and configuration data are accurate before shipment

Production Workflow & Collaboration

Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to align daily work with production priorities and the shipping schedule

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Provide feedback for process improvements or documentation updates

Assist with training new technicians as required

Documentation & Compliance

Accurately record work performed in manufacturing execution systems (MES) or equivalent tools

Follow all safety policies, quality procedures, and standard work instructions

Support continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis or corrective actions
