Test Technician - Aerospace
**Job Title: Test Technician - Aerospace Electrical Components** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team in testing electrical power supplies and magnetic components used in the aerospace industry. These components are specifically tailored for aircraft Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), Ground Control Units (GCUs), and related systems. You will work with various types of generators for engine OEM companies, including permanent magnet generators for FADEC and ignition applications, aircraft APUs for fly-by-wire applications, and wound field generators for main or accessory power in both DC and AC on aircraft and UAVs. **Responsibilities** + Conduct testing on electrical power supplies and magnetic components. + Record data accurately during testing processes. + Troubleshoot issues with products using electrical test tools such as oscilloscopes and ohm meters. + Work with low and high voltage electrical/electronic products. + Read and interpret technical work instructions and basic schematics. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Test Technician in electrical or electronic parts/assemblies. + Proficiency in reading technical work instructions and basic schematics. + Ability to use computer systems for recording data. + Competence in troubleshooting electrical and electronic products. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Eligibility for FAA DOT safety-sensitive placement (no prior DOT violations). **Why Work Here?** Join a clean, organized, high-tech manufacturer of power supplies for the aerospace industry, offering a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth. The FAA repair station is adjacent to the main production floor, featuring test benches and other tools. A special high-voltage testing room is available. The initial shift is from 0600 to 1630, with flexibility for alternate schedules such as 0500-1530 or 0700-1730 once trained. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukie, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
