Job Title: Assembly, Integration & Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Assembly, Integration & Test Technician who is passionate about space systems and eager to join our close-knit team. This role involves assembling spacecraft hardware, performing soldering and PCB inspections, building harnesses, testing components and assemblies, and following spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
Responsibilities
Follow step-by-step guidelines for building electrical and/or mechanical assemblies and document the process.Operate torque wrenches and similar tools according to product specifications.Obtain IPC certifications for wire harnessing and soldering assemblies.Assemble and solder components onto PCBs.Install project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers.Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems with engineers.Build harnesses and wire connectors.Support Propulsion Module and Spacecraft Testing.Read and follow drawings and written directions.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in relevant fields.Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and harness build.Experience with electronics testing and board repair.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb a 13' ladder, and stand for long periods.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Visio, Excel, and/or CAD Drawing software.Experience in Fabrication and Test processes.Experience with non-conformance resolution.NASA Certifications for soldering, crimping & harnesses.Experience with harness fabrication and vacuum chambers.Good time management skills.Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing, clean room environment. You will work with advanced technologies in a highly specialized setting, contributing to exciting space exploration and satellite projects.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Littleton, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
