Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
This position is responsible for building or testing the Propulsion system and sub-systems in a production environment. The Test Technician will manage expected turnaround times, adhere to quality control policies, and support safety standards while ensuring compliance. This role requires adaptation to schedule changes and responding to emergencies effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage expected turnaround time per workstation.Adhere to the lab's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, conduct instrument and procedural calibrations, and perform all required maintenance.Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results; correct the problems encountered or notify the Lead technologist or supervisor immediately.Adapt to unexpected schedule changes and respond to emergency situations.Support process work and review output for quality and adherence to standards and procedures.Participate in daily team meetings, end-of-shift reporting, and coordinate efforts to minimize production interruptions.Support safety standards and operations protocol while ensuring team compliance.Build and test sub-systems following blueprints and work instructions for daily rate delivery.Essential Skills
Aircraft Power Plant certification/license, automotive certification, or other technical certifications/AA's.Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering documentation and/or drawings.Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements.Experience with MES software packages.Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced challenging work environment.Effective team collaboration skills.Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.2 years of relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing experience or equivalent industry experience.2 years of relevant hardware testing experience.2 years of hands-on work experience with electronic test equipment such as data acquisition devices, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies.2 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware.2 years of hands-on experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices.Experience building up test racks and infrastructure.Experience with test execution software such as TestStand, LabView, and Python.Experience working with vacuum and/or pressurized gas systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work schedule includes shifts such as 6:30am-5pm (Manufacturing + Test) and 4:30pm-3am (Test) across various days of the week. The facility is equipped with bench top tables and requires monitoring of pressure and temperature. The role involves working with high pressure and vacuum automation systems, following instructions and blueprints, and using torque wrenches.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.13 - $42.13/hr.
