Job Title: Electromechanical Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, configuring, and executing tests on complex heating, sensing, and control assemblies. This role requires a strong technical and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Build and configure test setups for heating, sensing, and control assemblies, including heaters, temperature and flow sensors, valves, and electrical harnesses.Install and connect components according to mechanical and electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.Execute engineering test plans, including thermal, electrical, functional, leak, and endurance tests for new and modified designs.Operate standard test and measurement equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, flow and pressure instruments, and accurately record results.Perform basic rework to bring assemblies into conformance with drawings and test findings.Capture and communicate test data, photos, and observations to engineering in a clear, timely manner.Support the creation of test reports and FAI packages by organizing raw data, build history, and configuration details.Provide structured feedback on assembly issues, test failures, and design improvements to engineering and NPI teams.Maintain a clean and organized test area supporting repeatable, high-quality testing of complex electromechanical systems.Perform basic preventive maintenance and calibration checks on test equipment and escalate when formal service is required.Work in accordance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.Collaborate with engineers and technicians at other locations to align on test priorities and support on-site testing as needed.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as an engineering, manufacturing, or field service technician working with complex electromechanical systems.Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.Hands-on experience assembling, wiring, and testing multi-component thermal and control assemblies or gas/fluid delivery panels.Proficiency with electrical and mechanical measurement tools and safe test practices.Demonstrated ability to execute detailed test procedures and document results accurately with minimal supervision.Comfortable working in a fast-paced NPI/prototype environment with changing priorities.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment requires the use of PPE, including smocks, gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes. You will be working in a fast-paced setting where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
