We are seeking a dedicated Test Technician to join our team. Our company is renowned for being an industry leader in high-tech camera and positioning systems, designed and manufactured in the USA since 1933. We specialize in creating systems that perform exceptionally in harsh and challenging environments.

ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs on electrical and mechanical components.Troubleshoot and resolve issues using voltmeters and oscilloscopes.Conduct electronic assembly and calibration of PCBs and circuit boards.Interpret and utilize schematics and e-drawings for assembly and repair.Use hand and power tools for assembling and repairing equipment.Carry out mechanical troubleshooting on gears, bearings, and other components.Execute test procedures and operate test equipment effectively.Essential Skills3+ years of experience using voltmeters and oscilloscopes.3+ years of experience reading schematics and/or e-drawings.3+ years of experience with hand and power tools.3+ years of troubleshooting experience including root cause analysis.3+ years of mechanical troubleshooting, focusing on gears and bearings.Ability to lift 50+ lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with multimeters is advantageous.Experience working for a government contractor or on military equipment is a plus.Better tenure at past roles increases the chance of receiving an offer.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, organized, and climate-controlled, ensuring comfort and safety during work hours. The position is for the 1st shift, operating from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northbrook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
