We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to set up and test equipment according to specifications. This role involves utilizing mechanical or electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and micrometers, to perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of circuitry malfunctions.
ResponsibilitiesSet up test equipment and conduct tests as per specification.Utilize mechanical or electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, micrometers, and power supplies.Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the component level.Provide detailed written failure descriptions with root cause analysis to production and engineering teams.Follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.Assist other departments with tasks in various production cells or locations.Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to company safety rules.Demonstrate regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
Essential SkillsProficient in troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry.Knowledge of electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.Ability to perform maintenance and alteration tasks following technical data from manufacturers.Experience with drawings, procedures, work instructions, and inspection.Ability to deal with nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months to 2+ years of testing experience.Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.Experience with actuators and controls, both mechanical and electronic.Ability to utilize a computer for documentation, primarily Microsoft Office applications.High School Diploma required; BA/BS required for leadership roles.

Work Environment
Work the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, in a manufacturing environment that can be occasionally loud. Engage with electronics or electro-mechanical devices. Safety gear, including an anti-static smock and safety glasses, is provided, and steel toe shoes are required. Optional overtime is available, and the assignment is a 90-working-day temp-to-hire position.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.24 - $24.24/hr.
