**Job Title: Test Technician** Job Description The Test Technician will follow written instructions to execute tasks in a standard and repeatable manner. The role involves setting up and breaking down the testing work area using basic electro-mechanical skills, determining test outcomes, recording results, and recognizing when to escalate issues. Recommending corrections and improvements to test procedures and participating in continuous improvement projects are key aspects of this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using various meters and tools, including multimeters and signal generators, and have experience working in a team-based environment where accuracy and completeness of work is essential. Responsibilities + Follow written instructions to execute tasks consistently. + Set up and break down testing work areas using basic electro-mechanical skills. + Determine test outcomes, record results, and escalate issues when necessary. + Recommend corrections and improvements to test procedures and processes. + Participate in continuous improvement projects. + Utilize various meters and tools, including multimeters and signal generators. + Work effectively in a team-based production environment. Essential Skills + Troubleshooting electronics and interpreting schematics. + Experience with electronics test procedures. + Ability to follow blueprints and schematics. + High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years of related experience. + Experience handling electronics or printed circuit assemblies and electrical tests. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications + US Citizenship required. Work Environment The role is based in an ESD production environment with some exposure to machine noise, where hearing protection may be required. The position may require occasional overtime to meet demands and involves occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, as well as standing or sitting for extended periods. Why Work Here?
