Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems, completing rework as necessary. Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform production and field service returns testing and troubleshooting.Conduct detailed root cause analysis for troubleshooting.Evaluate and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical instruments.Assemble and disassemble electronic equipment using basic hand tools.Conduct calibration, work instruction, test procedures, inspection, and circuit board tasks.Essential Skills2-4 years of experience as a manufacturing electronic test technician.Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics, electrical, mechanical systems.Experience with schematic reading and use of oscilloscopes.Ability to perform assembly, soldering, and wiring tasks.Capability to repair and work with test equipment and circuits.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with semi-routine assignments and ability to recognize deviations.Ability to follow established procedures and require instructions only for new tasks.Skill in reading, understanding, and following test process instructions (TPIs).Availability for weekend work as required in addition to a minimum 40-hour work week.Why Work Here?
