Located: Rutherford, NJ

Pay: $18/hour ; Overtime: $27.00/hour

Shift: 7:30am-4pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

This role involves executing standardized quality control checks on products to ensure they meet established quality and safety standards. The technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting products, recording non-conforming materials, and maintaining accurate inventory through ERP system transactions. Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly is essential.

ResponsibilitiesPerform standardized quality control checks on products.Test and inspect products according to quality and safety standards.Populate inspection reports with test results from testing interfaces.Record non-conforming material in proper logs and alert supervisor as necessary.Perform necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory.Ensure test equipment is within calibration and functioning safely.Essential SkillsMechanical inclination and ability to work with hands.At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as wrenches and drills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience as an inspection or quality technician.High level of visual awareness.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Capability to stand for long periods.Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills to work within the ERP system.Attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills.Experience in drafting reports and collating data.Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.Understanding of ISO9001 is preferred.Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be authorized to work in the US.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
