Job Title: Equipment Test Operator - $20.50/hr

2nd,3rd shift

Testing JLG lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, telehandlers around a track to ensure the mechanical equipment works properly. Reporting any issues.

ResponsibilitiesTest lift equipment on the outdoor track.Dress appropriately for various weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, or snow.Perform mandatory six-day work weeks when work is available.Ensure free of depth perception issues that cannot be corrected by glasses.Operate machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, bulldozers, and more.Load equipment on a tower at a height of 52 feet.Maintain a mechanically sound operation, including checking oil levels and changing tires.Essential SkillsAbility to operate heavy machinery and equipment.Mechanically sound with basic maintenance skills.Experience in operating forklifts, skid steers, bulldozers, and other construction equipment.Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.High School Diploma or GED.Cannot be afraid of heights.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience from landscape companies or farms operating equipment is considered.Free of depth perception issues that are not correctable by wearing glasses.

Work Environment

Work outdoors on the R&D test track, embracing diverse weather conditions from very cold to very hot, including rain or snow.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
