Business objectives:

Improve first pass yield and reduce scrap at various test points throughout the factory.Reduce diagnostic and repair time for faulty products.

 Expected deliverables:

Optimized improvements to reduce inefficiencies associated with automated test systemDiagnostic hardware, software, and documentation, for technicians and engineering staff. Responsibilities Aid in development and debug of electronic test systems for production of pcb’s in a manufacturing environment,Aid in development of electronic diagnostic systems for technicians and engineering staff,Create new or update existing schematics for Automated Test Systems,Aid in writing operator test procedures, and technician diagnostic procedures,Develop or modify existing microcontroller based diagnostic tools,Research and collect technical data from product vendor websites,Develop troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in the field of Electrical or Computer EngineeringGood understanding of mixed signal electronic circuits, Good understanding of schematic diagrams,Familiarity with Electronic CAD software tools, Eagle CAD preferred,Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Familiarity with Arduino or Microchip PIC based microcontrollers and related compilers beneficial, but not required,Familiarity with common programming languages including C, Python beneficial.Familiarity with common test bench tools and equipment including DMM’s, Power supplies, Oscilloscopes, and soldering stationsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand and walk. The employee will frequently be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
