Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Engineer 4 who will work on multiple programs for test and evaluation. This role will be working alongside engineers, PMs, and Ops to deliver a system for flight tests and other external tests. They will also be working in labs to prep for test events and upcoming flights. This candidate will also have customer interaction to coordinate events on government facilities.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test and Evaluation Engineering department, Advanced Weapons division located in Northridge, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
Creating, validating, and verifying test plan, procedures and test reportsDevelop solutions to test issuesTroubleshoot failures related to the unit under testUse different applications in order to help perform analysisPerform tests by following ATPs or technical memos to perform evaluations.Work with internal and external customers to define and document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning including acquisition, processing, and analysis to satisfy test objectivesCollaborate with different functions to achieve progress in projectsTake part in TRRs, FRRs, and other reviewsPresent statuses and blockers to upper leadership.Basic Qualifications:
BS with 8 years of experience; MS with 6 years experience in related field.Experience with using different test equipment, i.e. oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMM, signal generator, power suppliesExperience in reading electrical and mechanical schematicsExperience in system integration, qualification test and requirements trackingDigital and analog circuit troubleshootingAble to communicate effectively and clearly to present technical approaches and findingsAbility to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
