We are seeking a skilled Test Development Engineer to program in Python and write software for drivers on Test Equipment. The role involves separating low-level details from high-level test procedures to ensure smooth operations.
ResponsibilitiesEfficiently develop Python software in an automated test system environment.Distill system-level requirements into individual specifications for electrical and software components and select appropriate hardware and software solutions.Troubleshoot systems associated with the Python program, including software and other aspects of the Test System.Write technical documentation including specifications, verification procedures, and reports.Test prototypes and/or production systems to ensure functionality and reliability.Essential SkillsProficiency in Python and software development.Experience in Object Oriented Programming, particularly with C++/C#/Python.Ability to develop software for test systems.Experience with software version control systems such as SVN.Understanding of the Medical Device Software Development Life Cycle.Additional Skills & QualificationsYears of experience in software development.Experience in developing software specifically for test systems.Work EnvironmentThe work environment consists of an engineering department, including cubes and a test lab. Engineers are provided with the necessary tools and technologies to perform their duties effectively.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $85.00/hr.
