Your Role:
The Test Automation Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain tests and test automation for the software and accompanying components of NGA’s Secure Communication System (SCS) products. You will also be accountable for:
Developing, maintaining and evolving manual and automated tests on virtual machines
Contributing to high quality test and automation process using agile methodologies
Ensure test cases appropriately exercise the target functionality
Optimise test and test automation processes by recommending tools and processes improvements
Grow and contribute to areas such as cyber security, system administration and systems engineering
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications/industry certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
Experience with Test configuration tools (e.g. JIRA X-ray)
Knowledge of managing and maintaining testing lifecycle management
Experience with Work-Load management and deflect tracking using JIRA or similar industry tools
1-3 years of relevant industry experience specifically with Testing
and Test Automation frameworks and understanding of Linux.
