Test and Evaluation Engineer
AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE TYPE: AU-Top Secret (NV2) TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the Time **Description** **Your Role:** The role of the Triton Test and Evaluation Engineer is to conduct and support developmental, acceptance and regression testing on the Triton Unmanned Aerial System. You will also have accountability for: + Identifying and developing applicable Test Procedures for, acceptance and regression testing. + Undertaking and/or supporting the role of Test Director for formal test activities, ensuring appropriate planning is performed. + Conducting testing and established Test Procedures, and record results, including red pen amendments and Test Variations + Preparing Test Reports and provide evidence and artefacts for System acceptance. + Providing input into the Test and Evaluation Management Plan. + Managing Test and Evaluation Working Groups. **About You:** + Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical/Avionics) or Engineers Australia recognised equivalent + Ability to obtain Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) or equivalent state-based engineering registration + Ability to obtain Chartered Professional Engineering status through Engineers Australia + The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2 + Demonstrated experience as a Professional Engineer within the aviation industry + Excellent communication and relationship management skills + Demonstrated performance, people leadership and customer interface skills/experience + Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering, Test and Evaluation and Verification and Validation + A strong understanding of Test and Evaluation principles, including test planning, test direction, test execution and test reporting for complex systems + Knowledge of configuration management, airworthiness regulation, and certification concepts utilised by ADF and/or civil operators **What we Offer:** We have built our benefits to help you define your possible. + 18 weeks paid parental leave + Flexible Working Options including - Hybrid Working, 9-day Fortnights, Volunteer leave, varying start and finish times to suit your family needs + 2 Weeks paid Reservist leave + Health, Wellbeing and Generous Employee discount programs + Additional purchased annual and salary packaging option + Ongoing career progression opportunities- leadership development, education support, ongoing career growth through internal movement **Who we are:** At Northrop Grumman Australia, we have been defining possible for the ADF for over 20 years.
