**Job Summary**
The Harbert College of Business is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to manage its pop-up merchandise store. The position will focus on overseeing all aspects of the store’s operation, from sourcing and ordering merchandise to managing inventory and handling sales. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

**Essential Functions**
**Merchandising & Ordering**
+ Work with vendors to source and order merchandise aligned with the Harbert College of Business brand
+ Ensure timely delivery and product quality
**Inventory Management**
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
+ Track stock, manage inventory, and ensure availability of popular items
+ Conduct periodic inventory audits to minimize discrepancies
**Payment & Paperwork**
+ Prepare and submit required paperwork for merchandise payments
+ Ensure compliance with Auburn University procurement policies
**Store Setup & Operations**
+ Set up pop-up store locations and create appealing displays
+ Operate the store during summer hours
+ Handle customer inquiries and process transactions
**Sales Tracking & Reporting**
+ Record sales data and monitor sales trends
+ Report results to management
+ Provide recommendations for future merchandise based on customer preferences

**Minimum Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent
**Desired Qualifications**
**Knowledge & Skills**
+ Prior retail or merchandising experience
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
+ Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Availability to work during summer hours
Work conditions:
+ Physical setup and breakdown of merchandise displays may require light to moderate lifting.
+ Flexible summer schedule with varying hours based on store demand.
