Territory Sales Representative

Job Description: Responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting the company’s product offerings within an assigned territory. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making to ensure the company remains the supplier of choice in the region.

Responsibilities

•\tUnderstand and promote product offering

•\tPrepare customer quotations, shipping authorizations, return authorizations, and customer feedback using company's software package

•\tDevelop and nurture relationships with customer base to ensure organization is supplier of choice

•\tPrice products effectively to market positions to maximize revenue potential

•\tCreate regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives

•\tAnalyze data to find the most efficient sales methods

•\tTravel through assigned territory meeting with customers to address concerns, provide solutions, and generate business opportunities

•\tDevelop plans to acquire new customers through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and working through sales agent organizations in their assigned region

•\tSet up and implement presentations with customers using demonstration trucks and PowerPoint

•\tConduct training for agents in sales techniques and company product attributes

•\tParticipate in industry or promotional events (trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships

•\tGather and monitor competitive data within assigned region by using customer and agent relationships

•\tReport on regional sales results

•\tForecast quarterly and annual business demand and growth

•\tPrepare and submit reports to the Sales Manager

•\tAddress potential problems and provide prompt solutions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tBachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required

•\tEffective communication skills (verbally, understanding facial expression and voice inflection)

•\tStrong personal character, commitment, organization, work habits, and selling skills

•\tAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

•\tMust be proficient and have had experience using Microsoft products including, CRM, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

•\tAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

•\tDetail oriented

•\tDiplomatic approach in working with internal departments of CP and across customer base

•\tDemonstrated ability to manage priorities and navigate customer expectations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
