Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team specializing in the sale of capital equipment. This role involves managing and expanding our customer base across the West Coast of the U.S. Territory and Canada, west of the Mississippi River. The ideal candidate preferably resides in California or another major metropolitan area. Your primary focus will be on lead generation, account management, and building strong relationships with clients to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets.Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.Manage existing accounts and cultivate long-term relationships with clients.Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on progress.Coordinate with inside sales, engineering, and operations.Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.Essential Skills
2+ years of outside capital equipment sales experience, preferably in the food processing industry.Proven experience in lead generation and cold calling techniques.Strong account management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking sales activities.Demonstrated ability in business development and outside sales.Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.Knowledge of territory management principles to optimize coverage and effectiveness.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience managing multiple projects through completion.Experience working with various levels of management at large corporations.Background in capital equipment, specifically food processing equipment, is highly desirable.Work Environment
This position is fully remote, with 60% travel required to client sites within the territory if enough meetings are set up. The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST. The candidate will need to be in Frankfort, IL for training during the first two weeks. Sales tools provided include ZoomInfo, a prospect list initially built out, and Salesforce.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
