Looking for a change? We are looking for a Tenant Relations & Specialty Leasing Manager

To strengthen our on-site team at a leading shopping center in Rome, we are seeking a Tenant Relations and Specialty Leasing Manager to support the Shopping Center Manager and C&W central departments in ensuring tenant satisfaction, enhancing overall performance, and increasing specialty leasing income.

The selected individual will contribute to the development of an annual action plan, based on objectives agreed with the Property and Asset Manager, and will be responsible for its execution and results.

Job Description

The tenant relations & specialty leasing manager will participate in the drawing of an annual action plan, based on goals agreed with the Property and Asset Manager, and will be responsible for its execution and results. Candidates will be valued based on background, experience (ideally gained in shopping centers or in retail industry), commercial attitude, motivation and social skills. Place of work: Rome.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drawing an annual action plan, based on mid-log term business goals and strategies;Establishing and maintaining positive relations with existing tenants, listening to their needs, addressing their expectations, and delivering solutions that are sustainable for them as well as for the shopping center and all its stakeholders;Developing procedures and reporting tools, to keep track of results, gross sales and KPIs;Engaging and motivating tenants by creating a community; sharing updates on the shopping center’s communication and marketing activities, on market developments and opportunities;Proactively detect risks and opportunities to improve the tenant mix, also working in collaboration with central leasing department;When required, advising tenants with relevant solutions conceived to improve attractiveness, visuals, promotions;Monitoring tenant compliance with center regulations to prevent reputational / legal issues;Monitoring market trends, including competitors’ activities, potential threats and opportunities.Supporting the central specialty leasing team in scouting of prospect clients and new contracts;Developing commercial and informative materials to promote the shopping center as a venue/location for national and local brands;Proactively pursue opportunities to optimize space utilization, rental income and alternative revenues;Managing site inspections with clients and suppliers;Maximizing synergies with different departments, external entities and brands to develop partnership opportunities, joint promotions and sponsorships;Scouting and negotiating high-value Short Term leasing agreements with tenants, event organizers, and investors;Monitoring retail leasing performance and KPIs;Executing teporary leasing business plans to increase occupancy and revenue to the center’s benefit.


PROFILE:

Degree in retail, business administration, economics, law or any similar relevant degree.5-10 years' experience in tenant relations, specialty leasing or retail management, preferably gained within shopping centers, outlets or retail companies.Ability to translate business goals into actions and solutions.Commercial, result-oriented attitude.Strong relational, communication, and organization skills.Ability to create trustful relationships, to team work in a dynamic international environment, to lead change and swiftly adapt to changing market scenario.Good written and spoken English.Flexibility, problem solving, out of the box thinking, with a penchant for innovation and new technologies.
