Schedule:\n

5x2, 4x3 - 9-hour days\n

Job Responsibilities and Duties:\n

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Managing inventory re-ordering, processing direct charge orders from Operations personnel, soliciting vendor quotations and accurate information to secure orders and service agreements in accordance with Sibanye Stillwater-approved Purchasing Policies and Procedures. This position is expected to last 3 months but could be longer due to business needs. This is not a permanent position. \n

Qualifications and Skills: \n

Required\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nEffective planning and scheduling skills.\nStrong negotiating skills\nComputer competency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, and Excel)\nExperience with JD Edwards or other MRP\/ERP Systems\nFlexible and adaptable to change \nCompetitive Analysis\nCost Analysis\nCost Avoidance\nAbility to negotiate pricing and other terms of purchase consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need\nExpedite and ensure the timely delivery and receipt of materials\nWork with other departments to recommend new suppliers, issue requisitions and analyze proposals\nNegotiate and process vendor contracts for materials\nInterface with Accounting and Warehousing on problem resolution\n\n

Preferred:\n\nIndependent work habits\nB.S. in a relevant discipline (preferred)\n\n

Education & Experience\n\nMinimum of 2 years relevant purchasing experience and a high school degree or GED equivalent\n\n
