Our client, a fast-growing life sciences organization is seeking an experienced Office Manager / Workplace Operations Lead for a 6-month onsite contract in Cambridge, MA. This is a full-time, onsite role (5 days per week) supporting daily office operations, employee experience, and administrative functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position offers up to $30/hour pay and is targeting an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and visitors, ensuring a seamless in-office and virtual experienceManage office operations including supplies, catering, vendors, facilities, and building managementCoordinate company lunches, meetings, town halls, and in-person/virtual eventsProvide administrative support to senior leadership and act as backup executive support when neededSupport onboarding and employee engagement initiatives, including leading engagement committees and wellness eventsServe as first-line support for basic IT and hybrid meeting technology needsMaintain organized digital and physical records and support operational efficiencyContribute to special projects aligned with organizational goals

Candidate Qualifications

4+ years of office management or administrative experience (life sciences preferred)Experience in fast-paced, collaborative, and hybrid work environmentsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesTech-savvy with proficiency in common workplace tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom)Professional, adaptable, and able to work independently with discretion
