THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you currently enrolled in a college or University and looking for a Summer Internship opportunity? Banc of California has an exciting opportunity for a Summer Internship. This will be a full-time onsite temporary opportunity working Monday through Friday daylight hours. We are seeking college students with a major in Business or related field. This will be an 8-10 week paid summer internship program open to all undergraduate college students enrolled in an accredited college or university who are currently in their junior or senior year of school. This program is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and direct exposure to real world business challenges and solutions in the Financial Services Industry. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Performs routine clerical/administrative/finance/analytical duties such as scanning, reporting, filing, and indexing. Provides support to all areas of the department and assistance to company departments as needed. Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports the company’s goals and values. WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position. Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, speak clearly to customers and employees. Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties. High School Diploma required. Must be enrolled as full-time student at an accredited college or university at a junior or senior level Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the program High School diploma or equivalent required

 SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
