Temporary Data Entry Specialist (REMOTE)

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Specialist to support KPS and our government customer. This position is remote.
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Temporary Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately inputting and managing patient and administrative information within electronic systems.
+ Maintaining the integrity of medical records and other documentation that supports clinical and operational workflows.
+ Enter and update data into internal databases, spreadsheets and content management systems Review data for accuracy, completeness and consistency, managing corrections as needed.
+ Maintain organized digital records and ensure data is stored securely and in compliance with HIPAA, KGS and agency guidance.
+ Key duties involve transcribing data from various sources, verifying its accuracy, correcting errors, managing digital records, and sometimes generating reports, requiring strong attention to detail, fast typing, and organizational skills.
+ Enters patient information into the computer system in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Prepares various reports as requested by management, Communicates effectively with team and vendors.
**Skills and qualifications needed:**
+ High School diploma or GED
+ Maintain confidentiality regarding medical information
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Strong verbal, written and typing skills
+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
+ Ability to work in a high-paced, high-volume data entry environment
