Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional telehealth services. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will counsel and educate new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies, ensuring adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations. You will play a crucial role in facilitating ongoing therapy adherence by discussing potential and current side effects with patients and educating them about treatment alternatives.
ResponsibilitiesCounsel and educate new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies.Ensure adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations as indicated by drug specifications.Complete thorough and accurate documentation utilizing good documentation practice and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Discuss potential and current side effects with patients to educate them about treatment alternatives and facilitate ongoing therapy adherence.Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to the manufacturer, FDA, and other governing authorities.Essential SkillsTelehealth expertise.Triage experience.Acute care knowledge.Oncology nursing proficiency.RN license with a multi-state compact nursing license.Utilization management skills.Patient education capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate, Bachelor, or higher degree in Nursing or accredited nursing diploma.Must be an RN licensed in North Carolina.Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 3-5 years or more post-graduate experience in pharmacy operations and patient care.5 or more years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of acute inpatient care preferred.Ability to obtain licensing in all states and United States territories serviced within 3 months of employment.Proficiency in computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based programs.Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.Experience with motivational interviewing is preferred.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret practice standards, professional journals, technical procedures, and government standards and regulations.Work EnvironmentWork within a supportive and dynamic environment, collaborating with a large healthcare leader focused on patient care and access. Enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. A valid North Carolina multi-state nursing license is required, ensuring no restrictions to practice. The role offers training with a preceptor, allowing you to actively participate in work activities and gain valuable experience in telehealth.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
